CWC Berlin 2014 Special is a small expansion of the Settlers of Catan base game, given to contestants at the 2014 Catan World Championship. After distributing the remaining terrain hexes and number tokens according to the game rules, the Berlin hex "Brandenburg Gate" replaces the desert and the Berlin hex "Museum for Communication" replaces the hex that received the 2 token; the 2 token is removed from the game. The "Berlin Bear" replaces the robber (malicious gossip has it that Berlin's heraldic animal is collecting resources for the completion of the Berlin airport). When a 7 is rolled, the resulting actions are carried out according to the normal rules. Afterwards, each player with a settlement or city at a corner of a Berlin hex receives the resource produced by the terrain hex the "Berlin bear" was moved to. A player who has various settlements or cities adjacent to a Berlin hex still only gets 1 resource.
