In Alien, you'll enter dangerous situations against bloodthirsty governments and corporations, the harsh vacuum of space, unfeeling androids, and of course, alien horrors. When taking action in the face of such dangers, you'll roll a pool of six-sided dice based on your character's combination of attributes and skills. If you get even a single 6, you succeed! But watch out for 1s, they'll accumulate stress on your character and maybe even cause them to panic, breaking down or freaking out and endangering everyone. You'll also have to carefully manage resources, like ammunition, oxygen, food, water, power cells, even your noise level while hiding from entities hunting you in cat-and-mouse games throughout your ship or facility. If you're playing in cinematic mode, you might have to balance secret hidden agendas with the orders of your superiors and the needs of your crew.
